Elusiv

Branding and Identity

True crime podcasts and documentaries are becoming increasingly more popular, but about 50% of all murder cases are left unsolved in the United States each year. The goal of Elusiv is to bring in the help of the public to try to lower the number of unsolved and cold cases in the US. Elusiv is a monthly subscription that details a real unsolved case that subscribers can help to solve. Each monthly dossier features an editorial magazine, detailing the case, victim cards, background booklet, timeline and map. Users can download the interactive app to connect with other users, as well as share findings and tips to the police on the case.

The design of Elusiv is meant to step away from the cheesy blood and gore that some true crime brands can lean into. Elusiv aims to focus on the facts of the case, the victims, their families, to avoid handing the spotlight over to the perpetrators of the crimes.

The issue on display centers around the Delphi Murders. All photos and copy belong to their respectful owners.
